Hamish was born and raised in Melbourne, carrying a rich Fijian Indian heritage and the love of a single mum. School holidays were spent in Fiji, immersed in family traditions and cultural rituals.

As a teenager, Hamish was always looking for a sense of belonging. Whether it was jamming on his guitar, skating, playing footy or basketball, he was drawn to connection. His easygoing nature and infectious laugh made him a mate people wanted around.

Then came the world of sales. From the energy of the Melbourne United Basketball Club to roles at Seek, the tech industry, and a valuable stint back in Fiji, he gained experience in all sorts of environments. Each role shaped his personal and professional journey.

He later stepped into stand-up comedy. Taking the mic at open mics was a bold move, but it pushed him to be real, open, and expressive. Comedy became a space for him to challenge himself, step outside his comfort zone, and tell his story in an authentic, unfiltered way.

Now, he’s dedicated to helping others embrace who they are—living with confidence, forging meaningful connections, and showing up authentically as a facilitator at Tomorrow Man. There was a time when he felt the weight of proving himself, but that no longer holds him back. Today, Hamish values the lessons from his journey—one of growth, acceptance, and understanding—which he now shares with young people navigating their own paths.

Now based in Sydney, he enjoys life’s simple pleasures—ocean swims, his fantasy basketball league, and taking on small personal challenges.
