Cole grew up in Rotorua, New Zealand, spending most of his childhood outdoors, playing every sport he could get his hands on - rugby, fishing, bike racing, and even cars.
With a big, tight-knit family running a pub, he was surrounded by community, lively banter, and plenty of unforgettable characters. Playing bar games with locals—many of whom still feel like family today - taught him the value of respect, connection, and giving things a crack. His upbringing instilled in him a strong sense of belonging and a fearless approach to new experiences.
Cole's journey took him across England and Ireland, where he played rugby, worked as a laborer building fences, and spent time in forestry, getting his hands dirty before stepping into the world of psychology and facilitation.
Driven by a deep curiosity about people and behavior, he pursued a Bachelor of Science in Psychology at the University of Otago, minoring in Sport & Management, followed by a postgraduate certificate in Psychology from the University of Waikato. His career led him into schools as a facilitator, running leadership programs for students, and later into mentorship, working with NDIS participants on boundaries, consent, and social skills.
Now, as part of Tomorrow Man, Cole brings his love of connection, sport, and straight-up conversations into his work - helping men show up, open up, and challenge the narratives they've been handed about masculinity.
Outside of work, you'll find him on the field or in the stands, chasing competition in any form, out on the water fishing, or catching up with mates and family.
